CityWide Fleets engaged my team to build their core digital platform, aiming to provide "Seamless Logistics, Nationwide" solutions. The business offers a comprehensive suite of logistics services—from Express Delivery and E-Commerce Solutions to Haulage & Freight—for businesses both locally and internationally. The platform's mission was to establish CityWide as a reliable partner, offering flexible, fast, and fully insured services to support over 100+ businesses.
Challenge & Solution
The main challenge was creating a web presence that instantly conveyed trust, demonstrated accountability, and delivered a seamless user experience for diverse service needs (from small parcels to large freight). I focused the development on three critical features: (1) Implementing a Real-Time Shipment Tracking system for complete client visibility; (2) Designing a highly flexible service quoting architecture to handle variable pricing for Domestic & International Express and Haulage & Freight; and (3) Integrating robust insurance documentation into the user flow. This technical focus on reliability and visibility addressed client anxiety and established the company’s commitment to a 99.7% On-Time Delivery standard.
